Police: Sisters fled to Maryland with child after fight in Moon Twp.

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Authorities in Maryland found two women who were on the run following a fight that erupted in Moon Township Thursday.

According to police, the incident started at an apartment complex on Moon Clinton Road with five women, three of whom were fighting.

Investigators said two of the women, sisters from Maryland, left the scene with a child in their car. Officials said they almost hit two men in the parking lot as they sped away.

Police have not released many details about the fight, but said the women damaged a mailbox as they drove away.

The women were located in Maryland Friday afternoon and said they’re willing to pay for the damage they caused. There is no word on if they will be charged.
