Police seek help in finding man accused of beating pregnant New Castle woman

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man accused of beating a pregnant Lawrence County woman last week.

Investigators said Joshua Perrine attacked his pregnant girlfriend at a home in New Castle last Wednesday.

Police said Perrine punched his girlfriend, pushed her against a wall and choked her. The victim told police that she is five months pregnant and was found lying on the floor.

Investigators said another man tried to intervene, but he was punched in the face.

The female victim was rushed to the hospital and has since been released.

Anyone with information on Perrine's whereabouts are asked to call police.
