Police seek help identifying man accused of stealing from cars in Fayette County

FAYETTE COUNTY,Pa. — Pennsylvania state police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of stealing from cars in several parts of Fayette County.

Investigators said the man has been involved in stealing from vehicles throughout the area.

“There are several different locations that are involved, and there have been several different incidents,” State Police Trooper Stefani Plume said. “The male will actually break into the vehicles whether the doors are locked or not. He then accesses the information in the vehicle.”

Police released surveillance images taken of the man at a Connellsville Sheetz after he used a credit card not belonging to him to make a purchase.
