Police warn public of convicted sex offenders who have failed to register (PHOTOS)

PITTSBURGH — Authorities are asking for the public's assistance in locating two convicted sex offenders who have failed to register their whereabouts.

According to investigators Steven Randolph Mayhew and Jesse Kennedy are convicted sex offenders who have failed to register under Megan's Law guidelines.

Investigators told Channel 11's Renee Kaminski that they're both from the Pittsburgh area.

People Channel 11 talked to are concerned.

"That's nonsense.  That's a shame.  They should never have gotten out of jail," said a woman.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either man is asked to contact police.

Police said if you see the men, do not approach them.  Contact your police department.

Mark Brazil had also been reported unregistered. However, as of 2:30 p.m. Thursday, authorities said he was in federal custody.
