Poll: Roethlisberger among most disliked players in NFL

PITTSBURGH,None — According to a new Forbes poll, Ben Roethlisberger is among the most disliked players in the NFL.

The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback ranked third on the list, behind Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick and New York Jets wide receiver Plaxico Burress.

According to the poll, 60 percent of respondents said Vick is a player they "dislike," "dislike somewhat" or "dislike a lot," according to NFL.com.

Vick, Burress and Roethlisberger have all had run-ins with the law in recent years, which possibly contributed to their rankings on the poll.

Vick spent time in jail for his part in an illegal dogfighting ring.  Burress got out of jail prior to the 2011 season after serving time on gun charges stemming from an incident at a New York nightclub, where the wide receiver accidentally shot himself in the leg.
Roethlisberger continues to battle a civil case in which a woman accused him of sexual assault at a resort in Reno, Nev.  Later, a college student in Milledgeville, Ga., accused the two-time Super Bowl champion of sexual assault at a night club last year.

No charges were filed against Roethlisberger in either case.
