• Possible weapon found in Arnold double slaying


    ARNOLD, Pa. - Police continue to search for clues in a deadly mystery in Arnold.

    Investigators said the bodies of Bonnie Broadwater and her son, Lance Holt, were found last week.

    Police said they had been beaten to death inside the home they were renting on Third Avenue. The Westmoreland County district attorney said a possible weapon used in the attack was found at the home.

    Officials said the evidence was sent to the state crime lab for further testing.
