Prayer service remembers teens killed in South Union Twp. crash

SOUTH UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Two Uniontown Area High School students killed in a car accident were remembered during a prayer service Friday night.

Trevor McFadden, 16, and DeAndre Jones, 17, were killed in the Walnut Hill Road crash on Wednesday afternoon.

Family and friends of the teens came together to pray for the lives lost. Those who attended also sang to remember McFadden and Jones.

"Trevor was an organ donor, so his heart will live in somebody else. He's going to save a lot of people," said Trevor McFadden's mother. "Everybody that's talked to me about him said how he was always so nice to them and very respectful, and all good things, and it makes me feel good."

State police said they found a black Cadillac that witnesses said may have been drag racing with the teens' vehicle before the crash.
