PITTSBURGH — A woman and two children were attacked by a rabid cat Friday afternoon in Spring Hill.
According to police, a woman and her young daughter and nephew were attacked by the animal about 3 p.m. on Royal Street.
The cat was captured by Pittsburgh Animal Care & Control and tested positive for rabies.
Residents of Spring Hill are being asked to use caution around feral cats. If a stray cat is behaving strangely, residents can call Animal Care & Control at 412-255-2036.
