School bus loses tire, avoids causing crash

PENN HILLS, Pa. — A school bus lost a tire while driving on Saltsburg Road in Penn Hills Thursday morning.

Authorities said the bus, which is owned by First Student, was empty at the time, and was able to safely veer off the road without causing any accidents.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the problem remains under investigation.
