South Side bar may lose liquor license for not paying Allegheny County drink tax

PITTSBURGH — A South Side bar is in danger of losing its liquor license for not paying the Allegheny County drink tax.

According to the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, Mullens failed to pay more than $12,000 in taxes between November of 2010 and June of this year.

The case will go before an administrative law judge.

Mullens could be fined up to $5,000 or lose its license.
