Spaghetti dinner held in honor of boy killed at Pittsburgh Zoo

PITTSBURGH — A spaghetti dinner will be held Sunday in honor of the little boy who was tragically killed earlier this month at the Pittsburgh Zoo.

Two-year-old Maddox Derkosh died Nov. 4 when he fell into the African painted dogs’ exhibit and the dogs attacked him.

Sunday’s dinner will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Brentwood Presbyterian Church on Brownsville Road.

Money collected at the dinner will benefit Maddox’s family.

Toy trucks will also be collected and donated to Christmas charities in his memory.
