State police investigating 7-month-old Uniontown girl's death

UNIONTOWN, Pa. — State police in Uniontown are investigating the death of a 7-month-old at a home in South Connellsville.

South Connellsville police were called to the home on Pittsburgh Street about 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Neighbors told Channel 11’s Courtney Brennan there were multiple police cars, an ambulance and the Fayette County coroner.

State police were also called in to assist.

According to police, the baby girl died at the home.  Her death could be natural, but they are currently investigating.
