Superheroes wash windows at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — Batman, Captain America, Spiderman and Superman stopped by UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh on Wednesday.

When the heroes aren’t out fighting crime, they’re washing windows for Allegheny Window Cleaning, Inc.

The superheroes cleaned the exterior windows of the hospital for the children.

“The children that come here or that are staying here might not be having a great day,” said Ed Hetrick, dressed as Superman. “So just a little smile, something to brighten their day up is great and makes us feel good, and I’m sure it makes them feel wonderful.”
