Surveillance video shows thieves steal $20K in leather jackets from store

GLENSHAW, Pa. — Police are looking for three men accused of breaking into a Harley-Davidson shop in Glenshaw and stealing more than $20,000 worth of leather jackets.

According to police, the incident happened about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Harley-Davidson shop on Route 8.

Authorities said surveillance video shows the men break in through a glass door and place the leather jackets into black garbage bags.

Investigators said the men came back about an hour later. Store manager Lisa Jordan thinks they were trying to get the security sensor.

“They tried to cut through I guess with a knife, I don’t know where their bolt cutters were,” Jordan said.

No arrests have been made and police haven’t released any information about possible suspects.

“I would most certainly like to see them caught,” Jordan said.

The owner of the shop is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact police.
