Thieves looking for drugs target Washington County ambulance substation

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa. — Police in Washington County are investigating a break-in at an ambulance substation.

According to Channel 11's news exchange partners at The Valley News Dispatch, the crime happened sometime over the weekend.

Police said the thieves first tried to get in the back door of the Roscoe substation of Rostraver-West Newton Ambulance and ended up smashing a door.

Investigators said the thieves then stole a box of medication that was mostly filled with painkillers.

So far, no arrests have been made.
