• Tow truck fire stalls traffic on Route 28 in Millvale

    MILLVALE, Pa. - A tow truck caught fire Thursday night on Route 28 in Millvale causing traffic delays for drivers in the area.

    According to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials, the fire was reported around 5:15 p.m. on Route 28 North between I-279 Merge and Exit 3 Evergreen Road.

    All lanes were closed while crews worked to extinguish the flames and clear the scene.

    All of the lanes have since reopened.

    It’s unclear if any injuries were reported.
