• Tractor-trailer driver hurt in Pa. turnpike accident

    WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. - The driver of a tractor-trailer was rushed to an area hospital late Thursday night after his big-rig overturned on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Westmoreland County.

    The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. in westbound lanes of the Irwin Interchange.

    The driver was taken to Forbes Regional Hospital. His name and condition were not released.
