• U.S. Marshals arrest North Side homicide suspect

PITTSBURGH - The U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force arrested a man Tuesday wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in the Marshall-Shadeland area last month.

Authorities found 53-year-old David Micklos hiding under a bed inside a home on Kennedy Avenue, Pittsburgh police Lt. Kevin Kraus said.

Micklos is accused of shooting 66-year-old Richard Didonato, who was found on Woodland Avenue on the night of Feb. 10.

Didonato was conscious when police arrived on the scene but later died that evening at Allegheny General Hospital.

Police have said they believe that the shooting was drug-related.

Micklos was taken into custody on a warrant charging him with homicide, robbery and a firearms violation, Kraus said.
