US Marshals ask for public's help locating wanted fugitive

McKEESPORT, Pa. — United States Marshals are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a fugitive wanted on two warrants.

According to Chief Deputy US Marshal Michael Baughman, members of the US Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force attempted to arrest Rodriguez Williams Tuesday around 6:30 a.m. at a home on Evans Avenue in McKeesport.

Williams fled the home as task force members approached, Baughman said. Authorities eventually chased Williams on foot, but were unable to capture him.

Williams, 25, is wanted on a 2012 PA Board of Probation and Parole absconder warrant, underlying offense, robbery, Baughman said.

Additionally, Baughman said Williams has an outstanding warrant for disarming a police officer, aggravated assault and flight to avoid apprehension.

Williams is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds, Baughman said.

He has a tattoo of a cross on his left forearm, and is known to frequent McKeesport and Wilkinsburg, according to Baughman.
