USA hits post on empty netter (VIDEO)

SOCHI, Russia — Up one goal with just over a minute remaining, Team Canada emptied their net to get an extra woman on the ice.

After Team USA snagged the loose puck off a faceoff, an American sent a strike trickling down the ice toward the empty cage, nailing the post for no goal.
