Washington School District student hit by car near high school

WASHINGTON, Pa. — A Washington School District student was hit by a car Monday morning.

The district superintendent said the student was crossing Allison Avenue and stepped in front of a passing car.

The student complained of leg pain and was taken to the hospital.
