• Water main break floods homes in Greensburg

GREENSBURG, Pa. - A water main break flooded homes in Greensburg Thursday.

“I thought it was a tornado, to be honest.   We heard wild waters.  I mean water went everywhere,” said homeowner Virginia Hilty.

Hilty’s Westminster Avenue home took the brunt of it.   Parts of her home were filled with inches of water.

Hilty will have to tear up her carpet and whatever was on the floor has been trashed.

The force of the water buckled the street.
