State police investigating woman found dead on Westmoreland County road

EAST HUNTINGDON, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after a woman was found dead on a Westmoreland County road early Tuesday morning.

The southbound lanes of Route 119 in the area of Route 31 in East Huntingdon were blocked due to police activity around 4 a.m.

According to the Westmoreland County Coroner, the woman, identified as Dana Marie Grzywinski, 45, from Mount Pleasant, was found dead on the road at 3:38 a.m.

The coroner also said that there is no risk to the public regarding Grzywinski’s death.

Grzywinski’s cause and manner of death results are pending the final autopsy and toxicology testing, the coroner said.

The autopsy is scheduled for March 22.
