Wolfe sisters remembered by local artists

PITTSBURGH — Two sisters killed in their East Liberty home in February were remembered by local artists during a benefit on Friday.

The WolfePack Goods Art & Rock Show took place at the Commonwealth Press warehouse in the South Side.

Artists created T-shirts, ceramics and visual art for the event. The artwork was inspired by and dedicated to Sarah Wolfe and Susan Wolfe.

"When tragedy strikes, the first thing that you think is, what can I do? As makers and artists, this was our response to that," said Amy Garbark.

Money raised at the event will go toward the establishment of the Sarah & Susan Wolfe Scholarship Fund, which will benefit Girls Rock! Pittsburgh.
