WESTWOOD, Pa. — A woman is facing charges after police said she pepper sprayed a woman and stole important documents from her house in Westwood.

Police said the burglary happened at the 1800 block of Brett Street on Thursday.

The victim told police a woman she knew had showed up to her house unannounced and sprayed her in the face with pepper spray as soon as she opened the door.

Court documents say that the woman was Ivona Laray Cohen, 20, from Pittsburgh.

Cohen allegedly rushed into the house and stole the victim’s social security card, birth certificate, a pair of Jordan shoes, a Call of Duty game and a PlayStation 5, a police report said.

Officers said Cohen also dumped ketchup, pickle juice and mayonnaise on the victim’s bed.

Criminal documents said the victim had a PFA filed against Cohen before the alleged burglary took place.
