• Woman rescued from Shenango Twp. house fire


    SHENANGO TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Police rescued a woman from a house fire Friday afternoon in Mercer County.

    According to police, the fire was reported at a home on Bedford Road in Shenango Township about 4 p.m.

    The rescued woman’s name and condition haven’t been released. It’s unclear if any other injuries were reported.

    The flames were quickly extinguished and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
