Women accused of pistol-whipping store employee during armed robbery

McKEESPORT, Pa. — Police in McKeesport arrested two women accused of robbing a store at gunpoint and pistol-whipping one of the employees.

Authorities said Sade Swan and Jaleesa King walked into the corner store Saturday night and confronted the cashier.

“At the time when the door opened, the owner of the store ran out the door and the two girls ran into the door,” victim Diana Farally said. “The skinny girl kept hitting me with a gun. I opened the cash register and said, ‘Take it all. Take it all.’ And she kept screaming, ‘Where’s the other money?’”

Farally said because of her injuries she doesn’t remember a lot.

“I have upper shoulder injuries. I have back injuries. I have a contusion to the head,” Farally said.

She said she’s most shaken up because she was held at gunpoint in front of her daughter and granddaughter.

“I thought I was going to die but a police officer came back later and told us it was only a pellet gun,” Farally said.

Detectives arrested Swan and King a short time after the alleged robbery. Officials said police recovered money, a purse and a wallet.
