• Man dies after Leetsdale hit-and-run

    LEETSDALE, Pa. - Leetsdale police confirmed that an accident took place around 3 a.m. Sunday on Ohio River Boulevard.

    Police said a car traveling southbound pulled onto the berm of the road for unknown reasons and the driver got out of the car when he was hit by a passing vehicle.

    The passing vehicle did not stop and the victim, who is believed to be in his 20s, died at the scene, according to police.

    Police said the occupants of the pulled over car were unable to provide a description of the vehicle which hit the victim.

    County Homicide are handling the investigation.
