Painesville municipal court Judge Michael Cicconetti offered Cody Scott two choices Tuesday: He could spend 10 days in jail or he could mow the practice lawn at Fairport Harding High School.
Scott agreed to mow the lawn.
But there was a catch -- he wouldn't have the luxury of using a riding mower. Instead, Cicconetti ordered that Scott had to use an old-fashioned, non-powered push mower.
The judge also placed Scott on six months of probation and ordered him to get his GED. Scott was also told to stay away from the accomplices involved in the case.
