CANBERRA, Australia — According to Today, the Australian mother, whose name was not given, was at Canberra Hospital for several days with her 9-week-old son, who was ill. After the baby was discharged, the woman saw a parking ticket on her windshield with a note.

"I saw your car had a parking ticket on it," reads the note, written by a woman identified only as Laura. "I'm sure whatever you are going through at hospital is tough enough, so I have paid for you."
The mom posted a photo of the note Sunday to the Canberra Mums Facebook page, where it has received more than 95,000 likes and 14,000 shares.
