ROANOKE, Virginia — Apparently dog really is man's best friend.
A Craigslist ad created by a Virginia man looking to 'rehome' his girlfriend because she didn't like his dog has gone viral. The Daily Mail reports that the man placed the ad titled 'Free to any willing home' after his girlfriend told him to choose between his beloved beagle Molly or her.
The ad lists the best and worst traits of his partner, hoping to find the perfect new home for her. It starts off like any other pet ad with 'My girlfriend does not like my beagle Molly. So I have to rehome her.' Yet as the ad goes on, it's clear that the girlfriend is the one that's being kicked out the door.
'Only eats the best, most expensive food. Will NEVER greet you at the door after a long day or give you unconditional love when you're down. Does not bite but she can be mean as hell!' the ad reads.
