DIE, France - A French couple is making headlines after they allegedly drove 90 miles before realizing that they had left their 3-year-old daughter at a rest stop.
According to ABC News, the couple and their three children were on a road trip to Saint Raphael, France, when they stopped at the rest area and accidentally left the toddler behind. Another family reportedly discovered the girl and called police. When officers arrived, she described the car and told officers, "Daddy's car drove away," ABC News reports.

The girl's parents and other children apparently realized their mistake two hours later after hearing a radio alert from police. They picked up the toddler at a police station.
"They were obviously traumatized," said Clara Thomas, deputy prefect of Die, France.
Police are trying to determine whether to pursue legal action.
