Miguel Gonzalez Segovia now faces a possible life term when he's sentenced Jan. 15. The 33-year-old Mira Loma man pleaded guilty Thursday to possessing the drugs with intent to distribute.
Authorities say Segovia had more than 152 pounds of cocaine and more than 39 pounds of fentanyl in his rented SUV when state police stopped him Nov. 13 on Interstate 78 in Williams Township.
Troopers subsequently found the drugs in suitcases in the vehicle.
Segovia's lawyer sought to have the evidence thrown out, claiming Segovia was targeted because he's Hispanic. But a judge ruled police acted appropriately.
