• Police: Villanova University student stabbed outside bar

BRYN MAWR, Pa. (AP) - Police in suburban Philadelphia say they are searching for three men who stabbed a Villanova University student near a bar.

The student told police he and a female friend left a Bryn Mawr bar around 2 a.m. Sunday when they were yelled at by three unidentified men. WCAU-TV reports the student told the friend to run away, and was soon confronted by the group who stabbed him in the chest.

Investigators say the three men then fled the scene. Initially, the student believed he was OK and walked home before he realized he had been stabbed. He then walked to a hospital where he is currently in stable condition.

Investigators have released surveillance footage of the suspect, and Radnor Township Police are offering $10,000 for information leading to a conviction.
