• Pittsburgh-made reality show makes world debut

PITTSBURGH - A Pittsburgh-made reality show made its world debut at the SouthSide Works Cinema Thursday night.

“The Chair,” a STARZ original, follows two first-time directors, Anna Martemucci and Shane Dawson, as they make different films based on the same screenplay.

“Pittsburgh gave me everything I needed and way more for this movie,” said Martemucci.

The show is produced in association with Steeltown and Zach Quinto's Before The Door Productions.

Quinto, also an actor, best known for his roles in “Star Trek,” “Heroes” and “American Horror Story,”  grew up in Pittsburgh and attended Carnegie Mellon University.
