NORTH APOLLO, Pa. - A young man who was tied up with duct tape during a home invasion in Armstrong County Thursday used his video game system to call for help.
Police said they are still searching for the person who broke into the North Apollo home Thursday afternoon armed with a knife and a gun.
The 22-year-old victim said he was playing Xbox when he walked downstairs and discovered the masked man inside of his Cochran Avenue home.
Officers said the robber tied the victim up with duct tape and stole money, jewelry, guns and his car. The car was later found but the man still remains on the loose.
The victim's father said his son used his video game headset to call for help.
"He was yelling, 'Help!' into his Xbox and one of the guys he games with called 911 and sent them here," the victim's father said.
Police said the robber is about 5 feet 10 inches tall with blue eyes and a stocky build. Investigators said the man should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
