SOUTH UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa.,None — A massive manhunt is under way for a man who police said tried to run down a state trooper.
Police said Sean Middleton, 21, tried to run over a trooper last week.
Middleton was a passenger in a car that was pulled over after running a stop sign in South Union Township, police said.
According to police, the Uniontown man jumped into the driver's seat and nearly hit a trooper.
On Wednesday, a trooper spotted someone matching Middleton's description. When the trooper tried to stop him, the man ran into a field. That led to the massive manhunt, according to police.
Even with the state police helicopter and other agencies helping, police haven't found the man who ran.
