Police searching for bank robber in Marshall Township

MARSHALL TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police are searching for a man who held up a bank Wednesday morning in Marshall Township.

The First National Bank on Devine Drive was robbed shortly after 9 a.m. The robber left the bank on foot.

Investigators set up a perimeter in the area and brought in a police dog to assist with the search, but no arrest was immediately made.

The man, who was seen in surveillance video, is described as white, clean shaven and in his late 30s to early 40s. He has a large build, is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 250 pounds, and was wearing baggy jeans, a dark green hooded winter coat with a gray hoodie underneath, a Pittsburgh Pirates hat and brown work boots. He has bruises under both eyes and wore a bandage across his nose.
