Power of friendship: 7-year-old shaves head, raises money for ‘BFF' fighting cancer

Union, Mo. — A wise and compassionate 7-year-old form Missouri wanted to make sure his best friend didn’t suffer alone.

After Zac Gossage, 6, lost his hair to chemotherapy treatments for leukemia , he didn’t want to go to school.

But that all changed when his classmate and best buddy shaved his head and even raised money to help Zac get through the treatments.

“I didn’t want him to feel like the only one without hair,” said Vincent Butterfield.
