CENTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Police said surveillance video shows a dog was taken from a vehicle at the Center Township Walmart Tuesday.  Police are looking into whether the woman in question is a suspect or a hero.

The video shows the terrier was inside the vehicle for more than two hours on a hot day.

Police said the woman in question fiddle with the lock, got the door open and grabbed the dog.

The video shows the dog’s owner walking out of Walmart with a child and looking for the dog.

The dog’s owner said she was in the store for just a couple minutes.

The dog was anonymously turned into a shelter and is now back with its owner.
