SHARPSBURG, Pa. — One person is in custody after a SWAT situation unfolded in Sharpsburg Tuesday night, according to police.
Investigators said the standoff started around 7:45 p.m. in the 200 block of 10th Street.

Police had several streets in the surrounding area blocked off while it was going on.
Channel 11 confirmed the SWAT situation ended about two hours later when one person was taken into custody. SWAT officers escorted a person -- who has not been identified -- into the back of an ambulance.
The details on what led to this massive police presence are still unclear. No officers were injured during the standoff.
