There were two separate crashes connected to this: The first vehicle crashed into a cement truck, which was very minor, and then continued to accelerate at a high rate of speed.

According to investigators, that car then hit another vehicle head-on about a quarter-mile down the road.

The drivers of those cars in the head-on crash were both pronounced dead at the scene. They were identified by state police as John Snyder, 68, and Tiler Guth, 24.

Police are still piecing the crash together.
