PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police and the Federal Bureau of Investigations are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a man who robbed a bank in Carrick Wednesday.
The PNC bank in the 2100 block of Brownsville Road was robbed around 9:10 a.m., authorities said.
The robber is described as a black male, around 5 feet 11 inches tall, who was wearing a gray hoodie and a baseball hat.
Pittsburgh Carrick High School and Pittsburgh Concord K-5 were temporarily locked down as police searched for the robbery suspect, according to officials.
No one was injured.
Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 412-432-4000. A reward is being offered.
