5-year-old injured in hit-and-run in Pittsburgh’s East Hills neighborhood

PITTSBURGH — A 5-year-old boy was injured in a hit-and-run in Pittsburgh’s East Hills neighborhood.

Police said it happened around 5 p.m. in the 2100 block of Park Hill Drive.

The boy was conscious, alert and was complaining of leg pain when first responders got there. He was taken to Children’s Hospital in stable condition.

Police said the driver fled the scene in a gray sedan.

Pittsburgh police are investigating.
