PITTSBURGH — So what do you do when the Powerball gets up to $620 million? You do what everyone does — buy a ticket!
There has not been a Powerball jackpot winner since June 5.
The last winning ticket was bought at a Circle-K convenience store in Jacksonville, Florida.
Since then, there have been 39 consecutive drawings without a grand prize winner.

And now, the $620 million is the 10th largest U.S. lottery prize.
The odds of a single ticket winning in Powerball is 1 in 292 million.
Despite the odds, a lot of people stopped by Rossi’s Market in Robinson Township today to pick up a ticket, hoping to be a winner.
“I hope I win. I don’t even have to win all of it. Just some of it,” said Karen Keith who bought a Powerball ticket.
If a person matches all six numbers, they can take a $460 million lump sum amount before taxes.
The next Powerball drawing is Saturday night.
Remember, the only place you can watch the numbers live is on Channel 11.
