CONNELLSVILLE, Pa. — An 80-year-old man was attacked and robbed outside of his house, but he didn't go down without a fight.
Oliver Welsh pulled up to his house Thursday afternoon after getting cash from the PNC Bank in Connellsville and a coffee at McDonald's. That's when a car pulled up behind him and a man asked for directions.
"And I said, Where do you want to go? And he said, 'Well, I want to get to Butler,' and I said, 'gee, what the dickens are you doing up here? because this is a dead end everywhere you go," Welsh said.

When Oliver walked away from the man, he felt his wallet being taken and a shove from behind.
"He just rammed his arm into my back, the back of my neck and it threw me off balance on them steps and I grabbed the rail," Welsh said.

The 80-year-old fought back with the only thing he had left in his hand.
"I had this coffee and I said something's going to happen here and I threw it right in his face," Welsh said.
State police said their suspect is a man driving this car: a dark blue Chevy Malibu, between the model years of 2008-2012.
"It's a disgrace. What are you gaining out of attacking and physically assaulting an 80-year-old man? For what? Your personal gain," said Trooper Robert Broadwater of Pennsylvania State Police in Uniontown.
State police said there was also a woman in the passenger seat of that car.
Friday night, state police said they found the car, and David Millero and Tiffany Lynn Evans are in custody and were transported to the Fayette County booking center.
