Allegheny Co. Health Department launches new ‘air quality’ dashboard

ALLEGHENY CO., Pa. — The Allegheny County Health Department launched a new air quality dashboard in an effort to simplify the information for users.

Officials said the new dashboard provides easily digestible and understandable data for all users.

Users will be able to select the data they want displayed, such as ozone or sulfur dioxide. It will show where the monitors are located to collect the data.

This Air Quality program’s goal is to provide even more information and data to users and program staff. In conjunction with this updated dashboard, the county has also expanded and improved the open dataset for air quality available at the Western Pennsylvania Regional Data Center.

The air quality dashboard is located on the program’s main webpage at http://alleghenycounty.us/airquality.
