PITTSBURGH — After 10 months, Allegheny County’s COVID-19 Field Response Team will soon dissolve.
The 10-member team was formed to educate restaurant and bar owners on pandemic safety and follow-up on complaints. They did nearly 7300 inspections in the county since July of last year.
Their term will end when mitigation orders are lifted on Monday.
The Allegheny County Health Department’s food safety program will continue.
