Annual Pittsburgh Pride parades and festivals moved to fall 2020

Tens of thousands celebrate at Pittsburgh Pride Fest

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh's 2020 Pride parades and festivals will be moved to the fall at the earliest according to local LGBT+ organizations as concerns remain over public health and safety in large crowds amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to the Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh, which oversees most of the planning for the annual event pushing the parade and festival to the fall is in the best interest of all who attend as it works with local and state officials to determine what exactly that might look like for a social event of its size.
