Arrest warrant issued for local man accused of deadly shooting in apartment

NORTH VERSAILLES, Pa. — Allegheny County police have issued an arrest warrant for a man accused of a deadly shooting at a North Versailles apartment complex.

According to a release, the deadly shooting happened around 1:45 a.m. on July 8 inside an apartment at Green Valley Flats -- which is along East Pittsburgh McKeesport Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they found the victim -- Jamey Green, 29 -- shot to death inside. Medics attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

During the investigation, police said Calvonte Moore, 20, was responsible for the shooting. An arrest warrant was issued for Moore, and he is facing charges of criminal homicide and firearm violations.

Police described the suspect as approximately 5-foot-7, thin build, and known to be in the Duquesne area.
